Aamir Khan vows to quit smoking on a condition, if his son Junaid Khan...

Aamir Khan had revealed that he has overcome his past struggles with excessive drinking, but still indulges in smoking. The actor had described himself as an ‘extremist’ when it came to his habits, acknowledging that his lack of self-control often led him down a destructive path. In the latest development, the actor has reportedly made a solemn vow to quit smoking on a condition related to his son Junaid Khan.

It is being reported that Aamir has pledged to kick the smoking habit if his son Junaid Khan's upcoming film, Loveyapa, proves to be a box office hit. Well, this gesture speaks volumes about Aamir's selfless love and unwavering support for his son's budding career. For the unversed, Junaid is geared up for his second film Loveyapa, post his debut with Maharaj. 

A few days back, Aamir shared his reviews of Junaid’s upcoming film Loveyapa, which also stars Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. He described it as entertaining and fun, lauding all actors for their work. “Maine jab film dekhi toh mujhe laga main Sridevi ji ko dekh raha hun. Khushi ko dekh raha tha, aise mujhe laga main Sridevi ko dekh raha hun. Her energy was there, I could see. Aur main bohot bada fan hun Sridevi ji ka, bohot bada (When I watched the film, I felt like I was seeing Sridevi ji. I was seeing Khushi, but it felt like I was seeing Sridevi ji. Her energy was there, I could see it. And I'm a huge fan of Sridevi ji, a really big one),” he told ANI. 

Meanwhile, Aamir is reported to be unveiling the trailer of Loveyapa on January 10, 2025. Touted to be a soul-stirring tale of love, Loveyapa promises to captivate audiences with its memorable performances, lively music, and breathtaking visuals. Besides Junaid and Khushi, the film also stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film is scheduled to release on February 7, 2025.
